Canada, eh?
We visited Calgary, Alberta in October, 2007. There is a lot to do in the city and in surrounding areas. There are a variety of tourist attractions, with the Rockies just off to the west...and the Badlands just east of town. Below are some pictures and descriptions of what we experienced.
Calgary as seen off of Deerfoot Trail (major highway running north-south to the east of the city).

As an aside, the Winter Olympics in Calgary (1988) had a theme song called "Winter Games" by David Foster (he is from Canada). It is part of his "Symphony Sessions" CD that was recorded with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. The music on this CD is tremendous. Want a copy?
